The short version
Stenzo isn’t on sale yet. Right now this site collects one thing on purpose: your email, if you join the waitlist. We use it to tell you when Stenzo is ready, and for nothing else. We don’t sell it.
Who we are
“Stenzo”, “we” and “us” mean the team building Stenzo, a device and app for transcription and voice commands. This policy covers the website at stenzo.si while Stenzo is in pre-launch.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Basic technical data that web servers record when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. Our hosting provider keeps these logs to run the site and keep it secure.
The name you give your Stenzo on the homepage stays in your browser. It isn’t sent to us or saved. This site doesn’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
How we use it
- To email you about Stenzo’s launch, pre-orders and big updates.
- To keep the site working and protect it from abuse.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the services we need to run the site:
- Our hosting provider, which serves the site and stores server logs.
- Our email or waitlist provider, which stores your address and sends our emails.
- Google Fonts, which serves this site’s fonts. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them, so Google receives your IP address.
We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until we stop sending launch updates. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email admin@stenzo.si to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Depending on where you live, laws such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the EU’s GDPR may give you further rights, and we will honor them.
The Stenzo device and app
Stenzo listens, transcribes and connects to apps like your email and Slack, so it will handle much more sensitive information than this website does. When it launches, the device and app will come with their own privacy notice. That notice will explain how audio, transcripts and connected apps are handled, and you will see it before you set anything up.
Children
This site isn’t meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has joined the waitlist, write to us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll email people on the waitlist.
